WASHINGTON (August 30, 2022)—The NRDC Action Fund, a national environmental organization, today announced it has endorsed five more candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives.
“We’re proud to endorse and support these five candidates who are committed to clean energy and a healthier, more prosperous future for their constituents,” said Alex Shapiro, director of PAC and candidate services for the NRDC Action Fund. “We need their voices in congress now more than ever to help build a clean energy economy, grow good-paying jobs and end environmental injustice.”
The newly endorsed U.S. House candidates are:
- Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) (MI-11)
- Yadira Caraveo (CO-08)
- Don Davis (NC-01)
- Brittany Pettersen (CO-07)
- Will Rollins (CA-41)
The NRDC Action Fund is endorsing its largest-ever slate of candidates during the 2022 political cycle. NRDC Action Votes and NRDC Action Fund PAC, political committees affiliated with the organization, raise millions of dollars in support of these and other pro-environment candidates through GiveGreen.com, a donor platform that has already raised $19 million for pro-environment candidates this cycle and more than $100 million since its inception in 2009.
