Nine Clean Energy Champs Win NRDC Action Fund Endorsements

WASHINGTON (May 23, 2022) – The NRDC Action Fund, a national environmental organization, announced today it has endorsed another 9 candidates for election to the U.S. House, U.S. Senate, and a governorship.

“This election is about whether America will embrace a clean energy future or remain dependent on increasingly costly and dangerous fossil fuels,” said Kevin S. Curtis, executive director of the NRDC Action Fund. “These candidates know their constituents want and need cheaper, more reliable domestic energy that will grow jobs and make their communities healthier places to raise families. We’re proud to stand with them as they fight for that future.”

The newly endorsed candidates are:

Governor

  • Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-N.M.)

U.S. Senate

  • Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.)

U.S. House

  • Angie Craig (D-Minn.) (MN-02)
  • Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) (CT-03)
  • Veronica Escobar (D-Tex.) (TX-16)

  • Chris Pappas (D-N.H.) (NH-01)

NRDC Action Votes and NRDC Action Fund PAC, political committees affiliated with the organization, raise millions of dollars in support of these and other pro-environment candidates through GiveGreen.com, a donor platform that has already raised more than $14 million for pro-environment candidates this cycle.
