WASHINGTON (March 7, 2022) – The NRDC Action Fund, a national environmental organization, announced today it has endorsed 22 incumbents in their bids for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. All are strong supporters of federal action to address the climate crisis and build a clean energy economy.
“We are proud to support members of Congress who are standing up for their constituents in the fight for our future,” said Manish Bapna, president of the NRDC Action Fund. “They understand that bold climate action will lead to a stronger economy and a better future for our country and our planet, and we need their leadership in the House now more than ever.”
House-passed clean energy and climate legislation this session included the Build Back Better Act, and infrastructure legislation contained funds to build out a national electric vehicle charging network, modernize and electrify ports, upgrade the electric grid, invest in rail transportation, clean up abandoned oil and gas wells, and replace lead water pipes that endanger child development.
