NRDC Action Fund: Trump’s Environmental Record Disastrous for Floridians

WASHINGTON (September 8, 2020) – President Trump is expected to deliver remarks in Florida today touting his environmental record.

Kevin S. Curtis, executive director of the NRDC Action Fund, issued the following statement:

“Donald Trump thinks he can con voters into giving him a pass on four years of environmental failure. It’s been a disaster for Floridians, who are paying the price for the climate crisis – rising seas, flooding, algal blooms, supercharged storms and more, with worse to come if Trump gets four more years.

“No one is fooled. Come November, we’ll hold Trump to account and elect a leader who’ll act on climate solutions, protect our oceans and coastal communities and all they support, and put people – not polluter profits – first.”
