WASHINGTON (September 14, 2016) – Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has vowed to gut the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, is visiting Flint, Michigan, today, where residents have suffered more than two years with lead-contaminated drinking water.
The following is a statement from Rhea Suh, president of the NRDC Action Fund:
“Donald Trump’s belated show of concern for Flint rings hollow. This is a man who wants to gut the Environmental Protection Agency and roll back our bedrock public health safeguards. In a Trump regime, every community will be a potential Flint.”
